Unfortunately most of what I saw of Copenhagen I saw from a bus and photos taken through a bus window are not of good quality.
However, we did get a little bit of time in Tivoli Gardens (founded in 1843), a very early theme park or amusement park. The park is noted for its scenery, exotic architecture, and amusement park rides. So I have included a few pictures taken there, but the park was far larger than my few pictures would indicate and far larger than I had a chance to discover.
The other photos are of the Royal Palace which is still the winter residence of the Denmark monarch, Queen Margrethe and the Crown Prince. Danes (and visitors) can get quite close to the monarchy and often see them coming and going from the palace grounds.
